Proxmox+TrueNas+Debian!

This story starts with a few computers that I saved from the landfill, particularly an Optiplex 3020 that is now my Proxmox server running TrueNas with SMB and NFS and a headless Debian install running Jellyfin and Docker. The only alteration that I made to the machine itself was replacing the 512gb drive with a full TB drive (that actually utilizes the 3.5' HD slot in the computer.) Apparently installing Proxmox with Ventoy doesn't work (at least in my case, it didn't) so I had to dd the iso onto an extra flash drive, but that was really the only issue that I ran into during installation and was an easy fix. I created a few 250gb virtual drives for my TrueNas pool and connected it to my Debian install via SMB so that I can stream Jellyfin content from my NAS setup. Besides obviously being a media server, I've also set up Portainer and plan to add a few containers into the mix after I get a bit more comfortable with it. Other than that, I now have a dedicated device to run VMs on, which is really nice. I've been playing around with Artix (with qtile, of course) here lately since I've been considering switching to it from Arch as my primary OS.
