Getting my Benedict C***B*** on with SQL Murder Mystery

Oh man, it's been a hot minute! I moved again, was sick for 2 weeks, took a weekend off to help my kid's mom move into her new place, and spent at least a day trying to come up with a less outrageous title for this article but WE'RE BACK BABY! And today we're gonna check something out that a man I have a lot of respect for told me about a few months ago: SQL Murder Mystery from Northwestern University Knight Lab, a free game to help level up your SQL skills. If you've read some of my previous articles, you may know that I'm a huge fan of gameification of learning tasks. I also enjoy a good murder mystery (a mild way to describe my True Crime addiction), so this seemed like something that would be right up my alley and now that I'm finally cozy and settled in my new residence, I'm beyond ready to dwelve into it! Since my SQL skills are basically non-existant, I'm starting with another amazing, free resource offered here, Select Star SQL (https://selectstarsql.com/), which teaches you querying using a database of the Texas death row inmates executed from 1976, which is interesting in itself, especially as a Texan. So after leveling up my SQL skills and knowledge for a bit, I feel like I'm ready to tackle this mystery!
